Star Fox 64

Star Fox 64 (ス フ ー フ ォ ッ ス 64, Sutā Fokkusu Rokujūyon?), Also known as Lylat Wars in Europe and Oceania (due to copyright issues). It was released on 27 April 1997 in Japan, on 1 July 1997 in North America and on 20 October 1997 in Europe and Australia. It was then imported to China's exclusive iQue Player console on November 21, 2003. In addition, it was planned as a remake of the original Star Fox1 game.

Many aspects of this game were reused in the project Star Fox 2, which would be released for the Super Nintendo but was canceled by the developers, since Nintendo 64 was almost on the market.

Star Fox 64 was the first game of the Nintendo 64 to use Rumble Pak2, an accessory that makes the control tremble.

The soundtrack of Star Fox 64 was composed by Kōji Kondō and Hajime Wakai. Some songs from this game have been used again in other franchise games.
